The scheme is intended for people of all ages and abilities, both inside and outside of formal education. It is split into 3 levels - Bronze, Silver and Gold. It provides a pathway to encourage people to develop their skills in progressive stages. The three levels are tackled as self-contained units, and each one represents a level of proficiency which is recognized by the award of a badge and certificate validated to a national standard.
